Word of god bossier city

bossier city, louisiana

Word of God Ministries, a diverse, non-denominational congregation in Shreveport, Louisiana has expanded its connectivity to include a satellite campus in Bossier City, Louisiana. The project features the adaptive re-use of a big box store to serve as an interim location adjacent to the site planned for the permanent WOGM Bossier campus.

The 36,000 SF building includes a flex-space lobby for community activities expandable into an adjacent outdoor activity plaza, a 500-seat Worship Room, WordKid’s Nursery and Children’s Education space with Large Group activity rooms, indoor and outdoor playgrounds, a Student Education multi-purpose room with hangout space and outdoor activity area as well as Administrative Space.  Technically sophisticated, the WOGM Bossier City campus design incorporates virtual connectivity with their ministry as well as LEED Sustainable components.

The aesthetic considers its place by incorporating regional materials, familiar architectural forms, and consideration for the local climate known for abundant seasonal rain and hot, sunny days. It is a timeless modern design with quality materials.  The architecture is expressive of welcome, comfort and legacy. Community is important here, which is evident by the playground and children’s ministry presence and other amenities creating a “third place” for its members, students and the neighborhood offering a 7-day a week campus.
