Scott Hall AIA

Scott is a Dallas Architect whose work has received numerous design honors and recognitions.  His background includes working at prominent Dallas firms, a founding principal of Welch | Hall Architects and for 25 years with OMNIPLAN Architects, known for NorthPark Center, Watermark Community Church and The Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum, where he was a Principal and Director of Design.  His focus for over 30 years has been modern Architecture, concentrating on commercial projects including large to medium scale Retail and Mixed-use, Worship, Office, Institutional and Multi-Family projects.  His expertise in authentic historic design is evident in Highland Park Village and has foundations in documenting historic buildings including The White House and Texas State Capitol.

In addition to his practice, he is currently serving on the Texas Tech University College of Architecture Advisory Board and as Design Chairman of the AIA National Knowledge Leadership Assembly: Committee on Faith-Based Design.  He served as a visiting design studio critic at Texas Tech University.  He is past Executive member of the Dallas Chapter AIA, served two years as Communications Commissioner, and has chaired several Chapter committees and events such as Retrospect, Dallas AIA Home of the Year Competition, Public Relations Committee and 25-year Award Committee.  He has served on the Trinity Strand Trail Committee. He has lectured and published articles on design and had projects featured in international periodicals.

Scott is an avid hiker, golfer, tennis player and proud father of two.
