One community church prosper

prosper, texas

One Community Church, a diverse, non-denominational congregation in Plano, Texas has expanded its connectivity to include satellite campuses in Lewisville and Prosper, Texas. The Lewisville campus was a remodel of an existing big box store. The Prosper campus is the first location specifically designed as a prototype for implementation as a ground-up campus adaptable to other future locations. All campuses are technically connected for virtual worship.

The 35,000 SF Prosper campus includes a flex-space lobby for community activities expandable into an adjacent outdoor activity plaza, a 600-seat Worship Room, a Nursery and Children’s Education space with Large Group Activity rooms and indoor playground, a Youth Education multi-purpose room and Administrative Space.

The architectural character is cohesive with the OCC home campus identity incorporating native Texas stone, natural wood and a glass lobby. The architecture is expressive of welcome, comfort and legacy. Children are important here, which is evident by the playground and children’s ministry presence. Budget and efficiency conscious, this design provides maximum flexibility for a reasonable cost utilizing tilt-wall construction and regionally available materials.
