The repositioning of Oakbrook Center, an outdoor mall near Chicago, incorporated the introduction of community amenities such as a multi-purpose lawn for movie, ice skating, concerts, farmers market, fashion shows and holiday events as well as lush landscaping, fountains, retail kiosks and lounge areas to compliment the shopper experience. “Warming huts” provide repose for winter shoppers and pop-up retail environments.
